Hub Vienna Community consists of ore than 200 like minded members engaged in projects with social impact. Entrepreneurs, social innovators, free lancers and intrapreneurs working on various projects and ventures to tackle social, environmental, economic and cultural issues. The Hub creates the environment for them to meet learn and connect.
Thus, some approaches you can find at The Hub Vienna include social investments, art applied for integration, platforms connecting responsible business, dialogues amidst diversity, new solutions at the bottom of the pyramid, museums for the blind, unconventional youth education, teeny ventures, design approaches to sustainability, fair and funky fashion labels, supply chains of ethics and transparency, open source movies, and still a lot more. Social entrepreneurs and activists, founders of "IndyACT- the League of Independent Activists" in Austria, an organisation for individuals who want to work on projects and campaigns they are passionate about. Interested in tackling social, environmental and cultural issues. One of their projects is "BIKE IT ON", where bikes are used to generate electricity. Another such project is “BIKUDU”. BIKUDU a multi-purpose bicycle which can also be used to generate electricity, grind grain, pump water and much more.

Since 2007 at gugler* cross media, responsible for corporate communications and sustainability; speaker, consultant and multiplier concerning all CSR issues. Currently focusing on the challenge of how we can contribute to a more sustainable and future-proofing society. Communication plays a central role. A sustainable media production can be a practical approach. It is about Cradle to Cradle approaches, sustainable design, green design, social design and last but not least the question, how communications can support the necessary social change.

iDEPART is an online platform to facilitate political participation, make it more efficient, sustainable and visible. Every citizen can use iDEPART at no costs to present political initiatives, organize activities and seek supporters and activists. iDEPART is a solution to reduce the current distance between citizens and politics. Their goal is to reduce the threshold for political participation to a minimum in order to make it combinable with job and daily routine. They strongly believe that an active, committed and vigilant civil society is of major importance in every democracy to guarantee that this system remains sustainable.
